Kyron Drones News: Struggles in 2025 debut

Drones was 15-for-35 passing for 221 yards and two interceptions during Sunday's 24-11 loss against South Carolina. He also had 12 rushes for 26 yards.

Drones threw multiple interceptions for the first time in his college career, and he never really found a rhythm during VT's Week 1 loss. He completed just 42.9 percent of his pass attempts. In nine games last season, Drones logged 1,562 passing yards, a 10:6 TD:INT, 336 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns. He'll look to bounce back in Week 2 against Vanderbilt.
