Lawayne McCoy Injury: Out vs. Bama

McCoy (undisclosed) won't be available in Week 1 against Alabama, per Brendan Sonnone of 247Sports.com.

McCoy caught six passes for 52 yards as a freshman with the Seminoles last year, and enters 2025 still somewhat buried on the depth chart. Still, the 6-foot-1 receiver isn't expected to be out too long, according to head coach Mike Norvell, and when he returns he figures to be a rotational member of Florida State's wide receiver corps.
