Lucky Sutton News: Slated to lead committee

Sutton is expected to lead what will be a committee in the Aztecs' backfield during the 2025 season, per Kirk Kenney of the San Diego Tribune.

Coaches indicated the lead back should get 15 to 20 carries per contest, which should position Sutton for a significant volume as long as he maintains his standing atop the depth chart. The 6-foot-1 running back played a minimal role with SDSU last season, running for 35 yards on just five attempts across five appearances.
