Maddux Madsen Injury: Banged up but expected to play

Madsen is a bit banged up, but he's expected to play in Saturday's game against Appalachian State, Shaun Goodwin of the Idaho Statesman reports.

Maddux departed Boise State's Week 4 win over Air Force after the second play but returned later in the first quarter and finished the game. While he's still a bit nicked up, the quarterback is expected to be under center once again Saturday against Appalachian State.
