Marcello Bussey Injury: Awarded starting role

Bussey (undisclosed) is listed as a starter for Memphis' opener against Chattanooga on Saturday, per Jonah Dylan of The Memphis Commercial Appeal.

Bussey is coming off a 10-catch, 147-yard, one-touchdown season in 2024 with Memphis, although he missed the final five games of the year. Now heading into his redshirt senior campaign, he's earned a starting role at receiver in the Tigers' offense alongside Jamari Hawkins and Ger-Cari Caldwell.
