Max Cutforth News: Struggles in releif

Cutforth was 14-for-29 passing for 106 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions during Saturday's 30-7 loss against Fresno State.

It was a rough outing for Cutforth, who was forced into action in the first quarter after Maddux Madsen (ankle) left the game. With Madsen expected to be sidelined for a while, Cutforth could be in for an extended look under center. The sophomore has appeared in five games overall this season, primarily in mop-up duty, completing 51.3 percent of his 39 pass attempts for 173 yards. Boise State will visit San Diego State in Week 12, following a bye.
