
Mel Brown Injury: Will be out six-to-eight weeks
Brown will be out six-to-eight weeks due to a collarbone injury, Joe Arruda of the Hartford Courant reports.
Brown, whose 2025 season includes three games, may redshirt it because of a broken collarbone, which the running back will undergo surgery for Tuesday. Currently, the earliest date that he can return is Nov. 1, which may be prolonged. For the UConn team, in between Tuesday and November's first day are five games Brown will not play.
