Michael Taaffe Injury: Undergoes thumb surgery

Taafee underwent thumb surgery and is without a recovery timeline, although it's not expected to be a season-ending injury, per Pete Nakos of On3.com.

The star safety, who has 51 tackles, one sack and one interception this season, is set to miss a chunk of time for the Longhorns. There's currently no telling when Taaffe will return, but he is expected to take the field again in 2025.
