Mikey Matthews Injury: Not a full participant

Matthews (undisclosed) isn't wearing pads and is working off to the side in UCLA's Wednesday practice, per Benjamin Royer of the Orange County Register.

Matthews is expected to play a significant role for UCLA, likely as a starting wideout for the Bruins. However, he's currently limited by an undisclosed injury, and while it's a good sign that he isn't held out of practice entirely, he doesn't appear to be cleared for contact. Last season at California, Matthews reeled in 32 catches for 272 yards and one touchdown.
