Omiri Wiggins News: Rushes for TD

Wiggins ran 15 times for 68 yards and a touchdown against NMSU on Saturday.

Maybe having Blake Baker under center opened things up for the La Tech running game. Maybe, for different reasons, the staff didn't want to risk Wiggins against SE Louisiana and LSU. All that is certain is that Wiggins had all of seven carries over the first two games but was the lead back against the Aggies. Next week against Southern Miss should be quite instructive.
