Wimberly (undisclosed) continues to compete for a starting spot in Bowling Green's backfield this fall, Michael Burwell of The Blade reports.

Wimberly, a former walk-on with the Falcons, is competing with Kaderris Roberts and Chris McMillian for a sizeable share of Bowling Green's backfield this fall. The 5-foot-10 grad student logged 22 carries for 124 yards and a touchdown last season across nine games before suffering a season-ending injury.
