Quinten Joyner News: Season feared to be over
Joyner is believed to have suffered a season-ending knee injury, per Matt Zenitz of 247Sports.com.
The tailback's season appears to be over before it could begin. Joyner, who ran for 478 yards and three scores on 7.6 yards-per-carry last season at USC, was a prized commodity in the transfer portal. He signed with Texas Tech and was slated to be a starting, every-down back for the Red Raiders. Now, the ground game will have to turn elsewhere in Lubbock, and next up is J'Koby Williams and Cameron Dickey, who ran for 236 and 235 yards for Texas Tech last season respectively.
