Rashad Battle Injury: Exits opener with injury

Battle (undisclosed) left Saturday's season opener against Duquesne early due to an undisclosed injury, per Karl Ludwig of SI.com.

Battle was taken back to the locker room in the third quarter with an undisclosed injury and did not return to the game. Due to the blowout nature of the game, it's possible the Pitt coaching staff was simply being precautionary, but the details and severity of the injury are thus far unknown. His status for this week's matchup against Central Michigan will be in question barring further updates.
