Reese Poffenbarger News: Will see some snaps Saturday

Poffenbarger will see some snaps in North Texas' opener against Lamar despite losing the quarterback competition, per Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle.

Poffenbarger lost out to Drew Mestemaker in the Mean Green's quarterback competition, but that apparently doesn't mean he wont get his shot. It's unclear exactly how much he'll play and in what context, but this isn't exclusively the Drew Mestemaker show just yet.
