Ryan Browne News: Looking like QB1 frontrunner

Browne is looking like the Boilermakers' starting quarterback going into their 2025 season, Sam King of the Lafayette Journal & Courier reports.

Browne and Malachi Singleton have been Purdue's frontrunning quarterbacks for 2025. King said that Browne was expected to be QB1 going into fall camp, and now that statement is looking more likely to come to fruition. There are still two-and-a-half weeks until the 2025 Boilermakers begin their regular season, and it would not be surprising if a public decision at QB1 is announced before they host Ball State on Aug. 30.
