Ryan Staub News: Scores TD in relief

Staub completed 4 of 8 passes for 65 yards during Saturday's 53-7 defeat to Utah. He also had six rushes for negative four yards with one touchdown.

After a very rough three quarters by Kaiden Salter, Staub entered the game in the fourth quarter and led three drives. He had more passing yards (68) than Salter (37), and he scored the Buffaloes' lone touchdown with a one-yard rush in the fourth quarter. He will likely return to the bench for Saturday's game versus Arizona, but Salter's poor performance opened a door for Staub to potentially steal the job late in the season.
