Ryder Burton News: Listed as starter

Burton is listed as UAB's starting quarterback ahead of Saturday's game at Rice, Steve Irvine of BhamBanner.com reports.

Burton will take over as the Blazers' starter Saturday after throwing for 209 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions after replacing Jalen Kitna against UConn last week. Burton also started against Memphis in Week 8, in place of an injured Kitna, completing 74.1 percent of his passes for 251 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in an upset victory.
