Sam Leavitt Injury: In line to return Week 8

Leavitt (lower body) is in line to return during Saturday's game against Texas Tech, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.

A lower-body injury is why Leavitt recently logged one DNP, Week 7 at Utah. Despite his ongoing problem, Nakos indicates that Arizona State will use the quarterback Saturday. In between Weeks 2 and 7, Leavitt's games all against Texas-based teams, he logged eight touchdowns (five passing and three rushing) without multiple turnovers.
