Samaj Jones News: First collegiate action Saturday

Jones completed 2 of 2 passes for 53 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 70-0 victory versus Northwestern State. He also had three rushes for 26 yards.

Jones saw the field for the first time in his collegiate career Saturday and played well. He led two drives at the end of the blowout and tossed a 42-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Johnson. Although he is very unlikely to play again this season, this may have been a peak into the Bearcats' future at quarterback.
