Samari Collier News: Will get a chance in opener

Collier will see some snaps in Coastal Carolina's opener against Virginia, per Brandon Dunn of ABC 15 Florence.

MJ Morris will reportedly take the first snaps at quarterback for the Chanticleers, but both Collier and fellow gunslinger Tad Hudson are expected to get their chances too. Morris likely has the lead in the quarterback competition at the moment, but Collier and Hudson will get their shot to unseat him against a Power Four opponent in Virginia. The former Illinois quarterback has yet to log a collegiate statistic, but it appears that will change in Week 1.
