Sire Gaines Injury: Limited in Week 4

Gaines was limited coming into the Week 4 matchup against Air Force, head coach Spencer Danielson told B.J. Rains of Bronco Nation News. He still finished with three carries for 34 yards.

Gaines was coming off a 14-98-1 line in the Week 2 matchup against East Washington. He was limited to three carries in this contest, and Danielson's words explained why he didn't have a big workload. It's unclear what kind of workload he'll have in Week 5 against Appalachian State on Saturday, Sep. 27.
