Sire Gaines News: Seen practicing in full pads

Gaines (undisclosed) was seen running in full pads during Boise State's latest practice Monday, B.J. Rains of Bronco Nation News reports.

After beginning Boise State's fall camp with a minor ailment, it no longer looks to be a problem, considering Gaines is running with ease in practice. For 2025, Ashton Jeanty out of the Broncos' running back room means there are more opportunities to run with the ball. It looks like Gaines would have a first crack at them, having logged 20 carries for 156 yards (7.8 averaged per carry) and multiple all-purpose touchdowns before a knee injury prematurely ended his 2024 season.
