Skyler Bell News: Makes Hay with a Few Catches

Bell only had four catches on the day but collected 135 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns in the 59-13 UConn win over Central Connecticut State on Saturday.

The total led the Huskies receivers of which a dozen UConn players caught at least one pass. In 2024, Bell led the Huskies in receiving, 783 yards on 47 receptions, in the regular season. He also had four touchdown catches. Bell's next task will be against Syracuse on Sept. 6. The Orangemen pass defense was in the middle of the pack last season.
