Tobias Merriweather News: Earning praise in fall practice

Merriweather was highlighted as a stand out in fall practice by the Utah coaching staff, per Josh Furlong of KSL News Salt Lake City.

Head coach Kyle Whittingham named Merriweather as a player that has made big strides in fall camp. The 6-foot-5 receiver joined the Utes in the offseason after transferring from Cal, where he caught 11 passes for 125 yards and a single touchdown across just five games in 2024. With his performance in fall camp, Merriweather could see a bigger role within the Utah offense in 2025 than previously thought.
