Trelain Maddox News: Being counted on for big season

Maddox is being counted on for a big season by Georgia Tech, Chad Bishop of AJC.com reports.

Even though Georgia Tech's running backs include Jamal Haynes as their top option, there is at least some room for Maddox to excel. This will be especially notable for at least one month, considering the Yellow Jackets cannot use Chad Alexander (lower body). As a collegiate athlete, Maddox has 17 carries for 67 yards (3.9 averaged per carry) and one touchdown. On his part, a leg injury hindered what looked like an adequately promising 2024.
