Tucker Kilcrease News: Option to be starting QB

Kilcrease is an option to be Troy's starting quarterback with Goose Crowder (shoulder) out, Creg Stephenson of AL.com reports.

Crowder out indefinitely means Kilcrease and Ui Ale have an opportunity to step up as Troy's starting quarterback. Crowder suffered the injury during Week 3, and if that is any indication, Kilcrease has a slight edge. It was Kilcrease who replaced Crowder, but the former did struggle, completing less than 40 percent of 92 pass attempts for under 100 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception.
