Gumms posted two receptions (on three targets) for 43 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 40-35 defeat versus New Mexico.

Gumms broke free for a 27-yard touchdown, his third of the year, to cut New Mexico's lead to 34-28 in the third quarter. The senior tight end's production has been touchdown-dependent so far this season. Gumms has logged 11 receptions for 168 yards through seven games.
