Walker Howard Injury: Out for 6-8 weeks

Howard (oblique) will miss 6-8 weeks as he rehabs his oblique injury, per Pete Nakos of On3.com.

Considering the quarterback was reported to be likely out for the season, this is something of a positive update. Still, Howard will miss most of the Ragin' Cajun's season, as that time frame sets him up for a November return at the earliest. In his stead, Daniel Beale should take over as the starting gunslinger.
