Waymond Jordan News: Finds end zone in opener
Jordan logged five carries for 42 yards and one touchdown and gathered in their only target for 16 yards during Saturday's 73-13 win over Missouri State.
As expected, Jordan was the first running back out of the gate for the Trojans, and he averaged 8.4 yards per carry in his five rush attempts. Surprisingly, Eli Sanders was switched in more often than expected and posted similar results, so Jordan's projected bell-cow status is in doubt. Based on Saturday's game, Jordan and Sanders appear to be headed for a committee approach in the backfield.
