Will Nixon News: Shows well in lead role

Nixon tallied 12 carries for 66 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 66-24 win over Colgate.

Syracuse was without starting running back Yasin Willis on Friday, allowing for Nixon to step into a featured role. He averaged more than five yards per carry during the contest and scored his first touchdown of the campaign. Through three games this season, Nixon has turned 30 rushes into 129 yards while adding eight receptions for 76 yards.
