Zach Marker Injury: Leaves Thursday's game on crutches

Marker (leg) left Thursday's game versus Delaware State on crutches, Sean Greene of WDEL reports.

Marker was injured on a scrambling play in the first quarter of Thursday's opener, and he was unable to leave the field under his own power. He then went into the locker room on crutches, a very bad sign for his chances to return Saturday. It's a tough blow for him after he won the quarterback battle over Nick Minicucci.
