Hopgood could make for a good sleeper this year, particularly in MAC-only leagues, with incumbent Bowling Green runner Anthon Samuel (personal) potentially unavailable this year. Hopgood is generally believed to be atop the depth chart at Bowling Green, though he'll need to hold off Andre Givens and Jamel Martin.

Despite arriving to Bowling Green as a wide receiver, Hopgood has turned into somewhat of a goal-line specialist at running back for the Falcons, rushing for 10 touchdowns on 136 carries. The problem is that he hasn't been especially efficient, failing to get anywhere near a rushing average of four yards per carry. He's unlikely to be fantasy relevant outside of MAC-only leagues, even if starter Anthon Samuel gets hurt.

Hopgood is a very good athlete who should stand out at Bowling Green this year. He received an offer from Nebraska and is more athletic than your usual Bowling Green wideout. Feel free to use a gamble pick on him in MAC-only leagues.
