Blue suffered a season-ending knee injury in the Tigers’ fourth game of the season in 2012. Coming off of surgery, he’ll be asked to aid Kenny Hilliard in shouldering the bulk of the rushing load after last season’s starter, Jeremy Hill, found himself in some legal trouble this offseason and is suspended indefinitely. As a sophomore in 2011, Blue rushed for 539 yards and seven touchdowns as the third option behind Michael Ford and Spencer Ware.

Blue was highly effective for LSU in 2011, running for 539 yards and seven touchdowns on just 78 carries (6.9 YPC). That rushing average led all running backs on the team, indicating that he might be the team's best big-play threat out of the backfield. The problem is that LSU's backfield is loaded, and there won't be enough carries to go around between Michael Ford, Kenny Hilliard and Spencer Ware for any of the four to be reliable fantasy options outside of SEC-only leagues.
