Aaron Spikes

The Lafayette run blocking was atrocious last year, but Spikes still made an impact as a true freshman, emerging as one of the nation's elite pass-catching running backs. He averaged just 3.2 yards per carry, but conversely averaged a truly astounding 17.3 yards per reception, turning 23 catches into 398 yards and six scores. While no one envies the situation Spikes has to play within, it's still safe to assume Lafayette will try to get this young playmaker the ball more often in 2011.
