2012 Fantasy Outlook

Although Ralph Bolden is the top Purdue running back for the time being, Shavers is ready to put some heat on him. Shavers ran for 519 yards (4.7 YPC) and six touchdowns last year, including a 149-yard showing in Purdue's bowl game against Western Michigan. His rising stock has him worth a late pick in Big Ten-only leagues, but he's otherwise only worth monitoring since Bolden and Akeem Hunt will steal a significant number of carries in the Purdue offense.
