ANALYSIS
Lloyd lasted about two and a half quarters, before he was pulled in favor of Anthony Alford, who was allowed to try his hand against a Boise State defense that never budged. Until Lloyd improves his accuracy as a passer, he should be avoided in most leagues.

Lloyd played off the bench behind Arsenio Favor and Anthony Alford in 2012, but both of them are gone, and the remaining competition is weak. Former Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Todd Monken takes over as head coach and he is looking for Lloyd to be a Brandon Weeden-like presence in the offense. Lloyd is only a player to monitor, in any case.

Lloyd is nowhere near the recruit that Anthony Alford is, but he might be able to win the starting Southern Mississippi quarterback role in 2012, anyway. He has a year of experience over Alford working in his favor, and he reportedly did well for himself in the spring. With that said, he probably isn't worth drafting in fantasy leagues given that he's completely unproven and has yet to beat out Alford for the starting spot.
