Earns starting role
Duncan has earned a starting role in Vanderbilt's receiving corps, The Tennessean reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing all of last season with a lower leg injury, Duncan will be back in the fold in a prominent role this season. As a redshirt freshman in 2014, Duncan finished second on the team in receiving yards with 441 and he averaged a strong 15.75 yards per reception. Despite Duncan's talent, his ceiling may be capped this season due to Vanderbilt's conservative offense and unproven quarterback.

2017 Fantasy Outlook
Duncan led the Commodores in receiving in 2016, returning from a one-year absence due to a leg injury. Despite being a key cog in the Vandy offense, his numbers were pedestrian at best. Limited by suspect quarterback play, Duncan snagged 44 passes for 494 yards. He averaged just 11.2 yards per grab, and he failed to find the end zone. Still, there is hope that Duncan can build on the rapport developed with returning quarterback Kyle Shurmur, as the position may finally have some stability. Duncan, Trent Sherfield and Caleb Scott give the Commodores an experienced, possibly potent trio at the wide receiver position.
