Steven Threet

Threet has suffered four concussions in his time as a college quarterback, two of which occurred last season. He tells the Arizona Republic that he is still having trouble sleeping and continues to suffer from serious headaches. "It's extremely hard," Threet comments on his condition and the decision to quit playing football. "Obviously, this is a game I love. I love the guys that I've played with. Throughout my career I've had to make a lot of tough decisions, but this has been the toughest I've made so far." As a result of Threet's departure, look for Brock Osweiler to take over the starting role under center heading into spring practice.
