Zach Maynard

Maynard is a Buffalo transfer who, while showing some promise in his one season as a starter in the MAC, is difficult to anticipate as he takes over this Pac-12 squad. His half-brother Keenan Allen is a starting receiver for the team, so Maynard should at least feel at home somewhat, but it's tough to tell beyond that what's ahead for him now that he's jumping to a tougher level of competition. He's a good athlete, in any case, so he could emerge as a solid dual-threat for California.
