Good news for Arizona's flailing ground game this week, as head coach Mike Stoops announced that Nwoko (knee) could return to action October 20 in a conference matchup against UCLA, ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Nwoko suffered a torn ACL in spring camp and was originally expected to miss all of the 2011 season. If returning to action by mid-October, expect the Wildcats experience a noticeable boost in what has to this point in the season been a nearly non-existent rushing attack.

2010 Fantasy Outlook
Nwoko rushed for 273 yards on 76 carries as a freshman last season, but he missed spring practice with a shoulder injury and will enter the season a distant third on the depth chart behind senior Nic Grigsby, who has recovered from a shoulder injury of his own that cost him much of last season, and fellow sophomore Keola Antolin. However, Nwoko is quite a bit bigger than either of the other two backs, so he’ll likely see a few carries in short-yardage and goalline situations. Still, it won’t be enough to make him a factor in most leagues.

Nwoko, expected to backup senior Keola Antolin this fall, suffered a torn ACL in a scrimmage last weekend, leaving the junior's status for the 2011 season currently in doubt, the Tucson Citizen reports.
