October 27, 2013
Stutzmann caught a 27 yard touchdown in Saturday's 35-28 loss to Colorado State.
ANALYSIS
Stutzmann has caught a touchdown in four straight games, but only has 12 catches over that same time period. Hawaii will continue to throw the ball every week, so Stutzmann is a viable fantasy option.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2013
2012
2011
Stutzman was the top pass-catcher for a team that featured nine 100-yard receivers. He racked up 447 yards on 35 catches but failed to reach the endzone. The Hawaii passing attack struggled last season but figures to be improved under new quarterback and Ohio State transfer Taylor Graham.
Stuzmann is coming off a 2011 season in which he caught 78 passes for 910 yards and four touchdowns, but his value is mostly pointed downward heading into 2012. The Warriors are getting rid of their time-tested pass-happy offense in favor of Norm Chow’s pro-style, ball-control approach. Stutzmann will still be worth a pick in MWC-only leagues and is worth watching in other formats, but don’t look for Greg Salas/Kealoha Pilares numbers here.
With Royce Pollard presumably taking the lead role on the outside for Hawaii (thus more or less replacing Greg Salas), Stutzmann has a good chance to emerge as the team’s top inside receiver, the role held by Kealoha Pilares in 2010. Stutzmann only had 130 yards and a touchdown last year, but he reportedly committed to Hawaii over schools like Michigan State, Washington and Oregon State, so he might be more talented than the typical Hawaii receiver prospect. He’s a high-risk, high-upside player no matter how you cut it.
