Kendial Lawrence

Lawrence became the feature back last year after the starter Henry Josey went down with a knee injury. With Josey still out, Lawrence will be the starter once again heading into 2012. Missouri is a team that likes to run the ball, but coach Gary Pinkel prefers to spread those carries out amongst multiple backs, and the team's move to the SEC will leave Lawrence running against tougher defenses than in years past. On top of that, quarterback James Franklin led the team in carries in 2011 and projects to do the same in 2012, especially inside the red zone.
