Bobby Petrino told reporters Wednesday he thinks he will finally be able to field a fully healthy backfield this weekend against Ole Miss, with Ronnie Wingo, Jr. back to full speed after injuring his toe, ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Petrino says that Wingo has practiced throughout this week and has apparently "got his speed back." "It's nice to have the three backs healthy again," Petrino continued. "They all [bring] a bit of something different to the table. If one of them gets hot, we're going to make sure we feed him."

Wingo split carries with Dennis Johnson last season. He finished the 2011 season with 458 yards on 105 carries, averaging 4.4 yards per carry, a notably lower number than Johnson's 6.3 yards per carry. Wingo does, however, have ability as a receiver. He was a threat catching balls out of the backfield last season, compiling 20 receptions for 187 yards. He had five total touchdowns (three on the ground, two through the air). Knile Davis will be the starter going into 2012 after missing all of 2011 so Wingo's carries will most likely go down this season.
