Shea Patterson
Michigan Wolverines
2018 Fantasy Outlook
With the eligibility controversy behind him, Patterson is ready to take the reins at Michigan. Big Blue hasn't been a trove of fantasy output in recent years, even under Jim Harbaugh, but Patterson's arrival forces Michigan to modernize its attack. Building more RPO looks into the offense plays to Patterson's skill set and stresses the defense in new ways. It's a small sample, but what Patterson showed at Ole Miss with arm talent and improvisational skill suggests he'll be a success at Michigan, particularly with the loaded skill group at his disposal. Tosses pair of picks in bowl game
January 1, 2019
Paterson (knee) went 22-for-36 passing for 236 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in the Peach Bowl against Florida.
Patterson didn't exactly end his season on a high note, throwing his sixth and seventh interceptions in what turned out to be a blowout loss. He has already announced that he will return for his senior season in 2019 before taking his talents to the pros. Patterson should be locked into the starting gig entering his final collegiate campaign.

2017 Fantasy Outlook
Last year's top quarterback recruit, Patterson was expected to redshirt while Chad Kelly served as starter, but a season-ending knee injury to Kelly thrust Patterson into the fire. There were some freshman moments during his three starts, but Patterson showed the arm strength and uncanny improvisational skills that led many to compare him to Johnny Manziel. With a deep group of receivers to target, his dual-threat skills should yield major profits in a system that made fantasy stars out of lesser talents like Kelly and Bo Wallace.
