Entering transfer portal
Pigrome will enter the transfer portal for the third time in his collegiate career, Matt Zenitz of On3.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Pigrome previously spent time as the starting quarterback for Maryland and Western Kentucky before transferring to Ole Miss last August. The graduate senior did not see in-game action while slotting in towards the bottom of Mississippi's quarterback depth chart in 2021. Pigrome last threw for 1,603 yards, nine touchdowns and two interceptions in 2020 with Western Kentucky and will likely look for a starting job outside of the Power 5 for his final season of collegiate eligibility.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Pigrome's 2017 season lasted all of three-plus quarters, suffering a torn ACL late in the Terps' season-opening victory over Texas. He remained on the sideline during Maryland's spring practice but is expected to rejoin the team when it retakes the field for fall camp. Piggy fared well in his brief stint under center after seizing hold of the starting job over freshman Kasim Hill out of fall camp last season, but he will likely prepare for another round of competition with Hill in 2018. Should he win the gig again, it's worth noting he won't have star receiver and target hog D.J. Moore -- who entered the 2018 NFL Draft -- at his disposal.
