2019 Fantasy Outlook
The only thing stopping Tagovailoa from being the top fantasy quarterback is his own team context. Tagovailoa and the Crimson Tide are often so far ahead that they don't need him to play 60 minutes. Tagovailoa had five fourth-quarter appearances with just 17 attempts in those situations. His efficiency makes him a viable fantasy option nonetheless. His 11.2 YPA was third among all quarterbacks dating back to 2009 and he threw a touchdown on 12 percent of his passes. With arguably the best receiving corps in the nation around him, Tagovailoa will be able to put on a strong encore in 2019. Read Past Outlooks
Slated to miss a week or two

Ankle
October 19, 2019
Tagovailoa suffered a high-ankle in Saturday's game against Arkansas and will be sidelined for a week or two, Alex Scarborough of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Tagovailoa has avoided the worst of the worst, but he hasn't escaped without an issue that will cost him some time. It seems nearly a sure bet that he will sit out next week with Arkansas on the schedule. He'll likely do everything in his power to rejoin the action the following week with LSU scheduled to play the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.
