Listed as backup for Week 12
Undisclosed
November 11, 2019
Johnson is listed as the backup on Northwestern's Week 12 depth chart, with Aidan Smith being the starter.
ANALYSIS
Johnson didn't play in Saturday's game against Purdue after being questionable with an undisclosed injury. Aidan Smith got the nod at quarterback and completed 19 of 31 passes for 184 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. It looks like the Wildcats will roll with Smith once again this upcoming Saturday against UMass, but given that Johnson is listed on the depth chart, he appears to be available to play in the contest.
