Lands at Wake Forest
February 5, 2020
Wake Forest announced Wednesday that Stewart joined the football program as a graduate transfer from Stanford.
ANALYSIS
Stewart was one of two grad transfers from the FBS ranks that committed to Wake Forest on National Signing Day, with ex-Washington State kicker Jack Crane also making the move from the West Coast to Winston-Salem. Over 32 career games with Stanford, Stewart accrued 14 receptions for 188 yards and a touchdown. An incoming fifth-year senior, Stewart will be able to compete right away in 2020 for what will be his final season of eligibility. He'll offer some reinforcement at outside receiver with the Demon Deacons losing Scotty Washington and Steven Claude due to graduation.
