Armani Rogers
QuarterbackQB
2020 Fantasy Outlook
As the Bobcats look to replace Nathan Rourke, Rogers is coming in as a grad transfer from UNLV. He was unseated as the Rebels' starter in the second half of last season, but over the previous two seasons he had 16 rushing touchdowns (eight in each) and a over 1,300 combined rushing yards. He'll have to beat out Kurtis Rourke (Nathan's brother), but if Rogers can do it there will be some sneaky fantasy potential here based solely on his running ability. Read Past Outlooks
Heads to Ohio
July 14, 2020
Rogers announced Monday via his personal Twitter account that he will join Ohio as a graduate transfer for the 2020 season.
ANALYSIS
With Kenyon Oblad unseating him as UNLV's starting quarterback in the second half of 2019 and well-regarded TCU transfer Justin Rogers joining the Rebels in 2020, Armani decided last week that he would move on from the program. Since he left UNLV with his degree, Rogers is able to compete immediately in his final year of eligibility, and he appears to have found a good landing spot to potentially re-emerge as an FBS starter. With Ohio's long-time signal-caller, Nathan Rourke, exhausting his eligibility last season, his younger brother, Kurtis, entered the spring as the leading candidate to step in as the Bobcats' new starter under center. Rourke should still head into preseason camp with an early edge on the No. 1 job, but his experience pales in comparison to Rogers, who has completed 49.9 percent of his 385 career pass attempts for 2,465 yards and an 18:12 TD:INT to go with 1,549 rushing yards and 18 scores on the ground. Rogers' dual-threat abilities could make for a relatively smooth transition from Nathan Rourke, who rushed for at least 800 yards in all three of his seasons as a starter.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Rogers struggled with his accuracy in 2017, as he completed just 52.4 percent of his passes, to go along with 1,471 passing yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions. However, he did plenty of damage with his legs, scrambling for 780 yards and eight touchdowns on 5.3 yards per carry. Rogers will have a plethora of experience at wide out this season with Brandon Presley and Darren Woods returning. Top wideout Kendal Keys is also back in the fold after suffering an injury in spring practice. Although UNLV only went to the air 38.52 percent of the time in 2017 (ranked 106th in FBS), their run-heavy offense will likely provide Rogers with numerous opportunities to make valuable contributions on the ground.
