Armani Rogers
QuarterbackQB
UNLV Rebels
2018 Fantasy Outlook
Rogers struggled with his accuracy in 2017, as he completed just 52.4 percent of his passes, to go along with 1,471 passing yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions. However, he did plenty of damage with his legs, scrambling for 780 yards and eight touchdowns on 5.3 yards per carry. Rogers will have a plethora of experience at wide out this season with Brandon Presley and Darren Woods returning. Top wideout Kendal Keys is also back in the fold after suffering an injury in spring practice. Although UNLV only went to the air 38.52 percent of the time in 2017 (ranked 106th in FBS), their run-heavy offense will likely provide Rogers with numerous opportunities to make valuable contributions on the ground. Accounts for five scores in upset
QBUNLV
November 26, 2018
Rogers completed 13 of 20 for 172 yards and three touchdowns Saturday against Nevada. He also ran the ball 14 times for 46 yards and two touchdowns.
ANALYSIS
The yardage totals don't necessarily show it, but Rogers was instrumental in the team's comeback victory. The Rebels were down 23-0 in the second quarter before Rogers accounted for five touchdowns to bring home the Fremont Cannon. Rogers is already a solid dual-threat quarterback as a sophomore, and he figures to reprise an integral role in the Rebels' offense next season.
