2023 Fantasy Outlook
Rourke certainly lived up to the family name in Athens last season, combining for 29 touchdowns through the air and on the ground in just 11 games, missing the last three after tearing his ACL. Fortunately, the senior is seemingly healthy heading into 2023 and should be slated for another big season operating Ohio's offense. Rourke was on pace to top 3,500 passing yards a season ago, and he's particularly safe with the football, tossing a combined 11 interceptions between the last two campaigns. All of Ohio's top three wideouts and star back Seih Bangura, a pass catcher in his own right, return in 2023, setting up Rourke for a senior season that could prove to be his best to date. ANALYSIS
Rourke will consider all his available options now that he has only one season of collegiate eligibility remaining. Despite his output slipping during 2023, he still finished the year with nearly 2,500 scrimmage yards and 15 touchdowns. Many schools would look to get Rourke so that he could replicate his 2022 season, when he completed 69.1 percent of 353 passes for 3,256 yards and a 25:4 TD:INT ratio with Ohio.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Rourke nabbed the starting job last year as a junior at Ohio, and had an inconsistent season for the Bobcats. Rourke missed two games, but still only threw for 1,801 yards, eleven touchdowns and seven interceptions. He did add 327 yards rushing and three rushing scores, making plays with his legs when he needed to. Rourke’s ability to run the ball is a nice plus, but he’s by no means a dynamic runner and he’ll need to improve as a passer if he wants to retain his starting job. Ohio lost their first four games of the season, with Rourke never cracking 200 yards passing. In their first win, he only attempted 13 passes for 56 yards. Rourke loses his top receiver, Cameron Odom, but Ohio does return lots of the skill position players from 2021. Rourke hasn’t yet proved he can be a difference-maker and is a shaky starter going into 2022.
